Adele was an absolute sensation last year but Taylor Swift brushed her off with her 1989 World Tour. Swift scooped over $73.5million dollars from her World tour.
All the earnings of Adele came from her album sales, nothing came from touring. She made just $20.5million dollars, Taylor Swift topped her with almost $54 million dollars.
Billboard stated that time has come for the musical world to realize the importance of touring in modern days music. It has become so obvious that touring is a veritable means of making more money and fame that the traditional selling of albums.
Adele managed to finished ninth notwithstanding that she has the highest number of album sales than anyone in 2015.
