• Launch Google Maps on your respective device .

• Search for the area you will like to save for offline access

• Google Maps will then show the area you search for, with the name being displayed along the bottom of the screen. Click on the name.

• After that click on the three dots  in the right corner of your screen.

• Choose save offline app

 The next thing to do is to adjust the area through zooming and panning, please watchout for the size limit at the top of your screen.If the area covered is too big then you have to zoom in.
After this give save and name the map.

• Limit your search to a particular place, is not advisable to search a google map for a vast place like Brazil,so you have to narrow it down.

• Download of google map occupies much storage capacity so you have to ensure you have enough space.

• Finally, download only last for 30 days after which it will automatically erase itself to give up space for some other things. So use the infomation provided by the map promptly.
