2016/2017 NIGERIAN POLICE RECRUITMENT

The Nigerian Government has directed the Police Service Commission to recruit ten thousand police men and women to curb crime and boast security. The application starts on the 1st of April and ends on the 13th of May ( 1/4/2016 -13/5/2016)

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE APPLICATION

• You must be a Nigerian Citizen. 

• You must be 18 years and above at the time of the recruitment. 

• You must possess First School Leaving Certificate or Ordinary Level ( Wassce, Neco, Nabteb or its equivalent )

NOTE: You must have a working or functional email before you can proceed with this registration.

RANKS AVAILABLE FOR ENLISTMENT INTO THE NIGERIAN FORCE.

• Police Constable.

• Cadet Inspector of Police.

• Cadet Assistant Inspector of  Police (ASP).

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION ATTACHED TO EACH RANK.

• POLICE CONSTABLE: Applicants must have at least 5 credit passes in WAEC, NECO, NEBTEB or its equivalent and it must not be more than two sittings. This position is both for Specialist and General Duty. 

•  CADET INSPECTOR OF POLICE: Applicants must posses OND OR NCE from any reputable  Polytechnic or College of Education or its equivalent. This is also for Specialist and General Duty.

• CADET ASSISTANT  INSPECTOR OF POLICE : B.Sc, B.A, B.TECH, HND or its degree equivalent from any reputable university or polytechnic. It is also  both for Specialist and General Duty.

NOTE: Applicants should choose the area their academic qualification falls in; multiple application will lead to outright disqualification.

GUARANTORS FORM: Before or after your application you must download a copy of guarantors form. The guarantor form must be signed by the listed persons below; Magistrate, traditional ruler, a Police Officer ranging from the rank of CSP and above. For Military Officers; the rank of a Lieutenant Colonel and above. Chairman of a Local Government, Heads of Educational Institution attended, Career Civil Servants from Grade Level 12  and above.

SPECIALIST: Applicants for this cadre must have the relevant certificate in the special discipline. The certificate must be commensurate to the entrance qualification of the applied position. To apply properly in this specialist option, click on the appropriate field of the possible position.
